You have found a blog from 2005, our first venture along the River Nene, we have been back a couple of times since this. I loved Bill's yard, and have walked there from moorings at Denford would you believe, it seems to me to be a very happy place with lots of odd boats moored around. The 'residents' are a very happy bunch, I am sure you enjoyed your time there. I am sorry to hear that you had to sell your boat, however it sounds as if you have had quite an adventure getting to Bill's place, something you will probably never forget.. :smile: David,
