Milford to Radford in the sunshine

Milford to Radford Bridge, 3 miles 0 locks, Staff & Worcs Canal

We moved over from the towpath side to the opposite side where there is a not well known water tap at what they call Milford Wharf, not only to pick up water, but to also pic up a Tesco delivery.. that Meg sure does eat!

Seven months old now she is, and she gets through two good bowls of food each day.. she does look good though, her coat is really shiny.. mind you so is Lucy’s.  I have noticed a big difference in her coat since changing her over to Tesco’s food.. you would think it would be not so good really, but it seems to suit them both well.

After Mr Tesco arrived and we put all the groceries away, I took the two dogs for a shortish walk along one of the bridleways here at Milford before returning back for a homemade soup lunch.

Pins pulled, we set off for Radcliffe Bank just outside Stafford, well it is the closest place for Stafford, the bus leaves every half hour at the bridge and takes just 10 minutes.  We are off tomorrow to Argos, our radio has gone up the shoot.  Annoying really as it is not that old, but old enough to be outside the guarantee.

Although there are some houses opposite, they stand well back and I am pleased we are here as there is some shelter from them and the hill behind and also there is a bank.. (well there would be at Radford Bank!!) to protect us from the other side.  I guess we are in for a rough day tomorrow…

Gorgeous day today though for cruising along.. the back canopy protecting us from the cold wind yet allowing the sunshine to pour through warmly..
