Except that the tide is outgoing, not incoming as the lock keeper had told us..

No Problem starts to drift to the left and the sea!  I open the throttle when I realised and tried to turn… No Problem hits the dreaded bank on the far side…

Now it is full throttle in reverse to get out of having to stay there all night!….

Had to go along way downstream backwards to get enough room to turn before still fighting to stay off the far bank…

Phew!….. Happy now and on the way to Denver Lock and the River Great Ouse for the summer
