Everywhere I look today people are talking about it…

All the buildings on the left are British Waterways buildings and are to be demolished to make way for housing. There has been lots said elsewhere, so I won’t rant on too much..

This picture was taken in January 2005, blimey look at that lovely weather.. bet it was cold though..

Andrew Denny has another picture taken from the arm on the left showing the other side.You can comment to object or not object as you so wish, but there are warnings out that you need to do that by the day after tomorrow..

It reads as though we are losing the BW services there (water, refuse and elsan point).. well we are actually, to the bulldozer, but in the documentation they are going to relocate those locally.. One of my objections to the council was that it should be done before the current service block is demolished.  (oops I have given away the fact that I don’t object to the housing!) but I also objected to losing a couple of the wharf buildings.. they are going to keep the crane and relocate it to look good!.. it still works you know!
