Retirement with No Problem

The perfect K9 patient turned into the must un perfect overnight.  It’s our Meg, bless her, who has the bad leg in an awful accident just two weeks ago today. 

Not only did I get a cuppa in bed this morning but I also got “Meg has no bandages or dressings on her leg”… darn it!

Not only was there no bandages but no stitches either.. You can see the extent of the wound and why it bled so much in a picture, but please, if you are squeamish don’t click on this link!  I don’t want any collapsed readers!.. linky to poorly paw.

No wonder the poor lass wanted the bandages off, the vet said it was badly infected.. she had to do quite some work on it, and I picked her up late this evening.  I got one of those conical thingies to put on tonight.. gawd help her if she tries to move on the boat with that on!!

So we start the whole healing process over again…. ho hum..
