Retirement with No Problem

“Un cafe et un tea sil vous plait”.. says I trying desperately to remember my O level french “Do you want milk with that?”… Jeeeez, and I was so hoping my french would pass to get us a drink! 

Most of the bars and cafes around Meribel have seasonal british staff which makes life so easy..

With the snow slowly melting around No Problem we left her in capable hands to take in a weeks skiing with all of the family taking over a complete chalet at the resort of Les Allues just a 15 minute bubble cable ride to the centre of Meribel and the 3 valleys that make up this area.. But our journey started with a night out in London..

A cosmopolitan shock to the system to any continuous cruiser.. but what a time we had!  There is always a good evening ensured if you choose an Italian Restaurant I’ll tell you!

Eurostar direct to our skiing area was a delight, rushing through France at a crazy 125 mph, in 6 hours we were there, just a 20 minute local bus ride to our chalet.. brilliant!

But then so are the slopes…
