What a grand cruise for the Kiwis!
The lovely Gypsy Rover has been sold and Dot and Derek had their last cruise yesterday along the Oxford Canal near Newbold-on-Avon.
We have met them both on a few occasions and always enjoyed their company, the New Zealanders always had an open boat for all they met.. their time here on Gypsy Rover is done having cruised just about all the waterways over the last three years or so.
Now they are off to March on the Middle Levels where they have a little apartment until their new motorhome is ready in the Autumn, when they will be taking to the road to visit parts the UK without a waterway connection.
I am hoping that they will continue to blog.. it is sad for us to see them disappear off the waterways, we will miss them both…
Good luck you two ‘Ds’.. you never know, your motorhome might come down a street near us one day!
Goodbye and have fun xx
