Meg recovers but is non too keen on her walk
Moored Kennet & Avon Canal
A much happier K9 this morning, the smile was back on her face and her leg back to normal size. Dogs do seem to recover from things far quicker than humans!
I got my reference numbers on an email today for me to vote for the election of Boater Council Members. I was surprised how easy it is to vote! All I need to do now is chose who to vote for. I have my number one with Andy Tidy, but am still undecided who will get my numbers 2,3 and 4.
I saw the funniest blog post today that I have seen for ages. Well in fact it has to go down as the funniest ever. Tears were coming down my face in the end.. Wonderful stuff right here from Tom –> link That picture is a cracker!
Out walking today a little bit different..
Oh dear, tail down, ears down.. “I is not happy” I have her on one of those extended lead thingies and she can’t charge off and have fun! I just need to make sure that the leg is well healed and better before letting her loose again. She does love to run where as Lucy is happy to trot along side me.
Winter Wassat?, what a clever lot. Well done Roger, Sprocky and Mark & Angie, 3,2 et 1 point pour vous!

Today the lakes were not so icy, so plenty of room for the wild fowl. How graceful this swan was, and I just had to take a picture..
An inch or so of snow here this evening, it all does look very pretty out there.

Oh dear… now that IS a ‘hang dog’ expression Meg has, and who said animals can’t talk? Hope she’ll be back to her usual self soon

You don’t need to stop voting at number 4, either, Sue. You can carry on with your preferences right up until you run out of candidates if you like.

Glad to see the dogs recovering, it must have been an awful ordeal for you all.

Not sure what’s worse – a wimp like my Meg who flatly refuses to go into a field with horses, or a brave mutt like your Meg who just wants to say hello to all God’s creatures! Still, glad to see she’s recovering, and darling Lucy (and you!) kept well clear of the action.
Keep well, see you soon.

To you all,
Many thanks for all the good wishes for Meg. She is fine now, and I let her have a good run this morning, so she is now a lot happier! We were all very lucky
