Snowy start but we didn’t need to worry about the trains
Moored Kennet & Avon Canal
Down south for the weekend, but I thought last night it might not be such a good journey with the snow tumbling out of the sky. This morning was beautiful though..
I was pleased the board at the station said “On time”, phew!
In fact all our trains were on time and we fair whizzed ‘dan saff’. Even Wends was “On time” much to Lucy’s delight who always barks and greets her like a long lost friend much to the amusement of the other passengers who admire such a dog who welcomes friends like that.
Of course the rest of the day was given over to grandchildren, first picking up the youngest of Wend’s, Niamh from school, and the welcome from her matched that of Lucy’s, oh except for the barking!
Then it was a quick change and off to the local swimming pool for her weekly lesson. Pretty good she is too, right little human dolphin in the water.
Of course getting home I don’t know who was more excited Lucy or Niamh, she loves that dog, and and once again Lucy gave her very loud pleasure noise when Niamh walked in…
Just nobody and I mean nobody can play with Lucy like this. She will only play dressing up with Niamh!
Do you think she is just pacifying Niamh, or do you think she really likes this? After all at her age she has the ‘done it, got the t-shirt’ attitude to most things!
Wends and Dan have popped up to the pub to see if they can win a roast for Sunday in the meat raffle, be back in a minute or so, it’s 11.30.. time to sign off!

Sprocky,
You are dead right there! Poor Lucy, but I am sure she loves it really!
